Dr. Dong is responsible for insuring engineering analyses are correct and accurate in the products of our technical staff. He participates in evaluating engineering problems and mentors our field engineers in their technical growth. Spending a large percentage of his time in the field at client sites, Dr. Dong is grounded in the realities of operation and maintenance. His engineering perspective is always influenced by practicality learned over years of experience.

Prior to joining Bee, Dr. Dong was a leading senior officer with another firm performing retro-commissioning, re-commissioning and energy retrofits. That background equipped him to join us with pertinent, hands-on field experience, as well as a sense of the business issues related to creating "exciting quality" for clients. With over 20 years of commissioning work, Dr. Dong has experience in hospitals, airports, data centers, offices, schools, laboratories, semiconductor manufacturing plants, energy plants and thermal distribution systems. Dr. Dong is the lead author, or co-author, of many conference papers dealing with building commissioning, energy efficiency and retrofit topics.
